FT UNESA 2025 - Meeting of Parents of Students Enrolled in 2025
On September 15, 2025, at the UNESA Auditorium, a hybrid event was held, namely the 2025 Student Guardian Meeting. This event was organized by BEM FT UNESA 2025 and carried the theme “Synergy between Parents and Students in Building a Superior and Competitive Generation”.
This event aimed to bridge communication between the faculty and parents of students, as well as provide an in-depth understanding of the important role of parents in supporting students' academic journey and personal development.
Welcoming Remarks and Interactive Discussion
The event opened with a warm welcome from the Dean of the UNESA Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Agus Wiyono, S.Pd., M.Pd., who was accompanied by Vice Dean I, Prof. Dr. Supriadi, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Vice Dean III, Dr. Dwi Indriyanti, S.Kom., M.Kom.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Agus Wiyono emphasized the importance of collaboration between the university and parents. He stated, “The success of students is not only determined by the quality of learning at the university, but also by the support and guidance provided by parents at home.”
In addition to the faculty leadership, the event also featured an inspirational speaker, Satriya Imam Arifin. The winner of the 3rd UNESA Mawapres and the main FT Mawapres with a myriad of achievements, he delivered material on the importance of parental support in shaping students' mental toughness, adaptability, and readiness to face challenges in college and the world of work.
This meeting was a means for parents to learn more about study programs, facilities, and various activities available at FT UNESA. The interactive discussion session also provided an opportunity for parents to ask questions directly to the faculty leadership and speakers about various matters related to lectures and student affairs.
A Shared Commitment to the Future
Through this event, it is hoped that a strong partnership between the faculty and parents will be established in order to create an environment conducive to student development. This commitment is in line with FT UNESA's slogan: “FT... WANI WANI WANI... FACULTY OF ENGINEERING... MUCH BETTER”.
This meeting is clear evidence that student success is the result of synergy and collaboration, not only between the campus and students, but also with the full support of families. With this spirit of togetherness, BEM FT UNESA 2025 hopes to produce a new generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has excellent character and high competitiveness.
